Bobby Dean and Brenna met in 2013 in Moab, Utah through a common love of mountain biking, river rafting, and with the help of mutual close friends. We immediately knew there was magic between us, but the timing wasn't right for our love to grow. We remained friends and adventure partners until, after much growing and learning, we did a river trip in 2018 on The Gate of Lodore section of the Green River and we couldn't deny the love we felt for one another. The desert has a way of offering clarity to the heart and soul and in 2019, after a trip down the Salt River together, Brenna took a plunge to move to Flagstaff, AZ to be with Bobby while he still worked in the Grand Canyon river industry. We continued to adventure, travel, and deeply grow our love and we supported each other in every way imaginable during COVID. After a return to mountain bike guiding for Bobby, in the fall of 2023 we moved to Ridgway, CO together where we live happily with our dog Pickles and cat Tito.

In 2023, Bobby was awarded an illusive permit to raft the entire 281 miles of the Grand Canyon set to begin in October 2024. Both of us knew this was the perfect opportunity to have a memorable, intimate, and personal wedding.

We plan to exchange vows and be married October 30, 2024 along the Colorado River, just below the confluence with the Little Colorado River, within Grand Canyon National Park.
